Capital Campaign Grow

Grow is our church’s opportunity to step into a season of above and beyond generosity so we can make room for more people and continue building lives through the South Bay family. 

The heart behind this campaign is simple: more space means more people reached. 

Our goal is to expand and improve our campus to create a more welcoming, impactful experience for everyone who walks through our doors. Here's what’s planned: 

  • Add 250 new seats to our auditorium
  • Build a beautiful, dedicated entry for our kids' ministry
  • Relocate the men's restroom to a more accessible, central location
  • Upgrade essential tech to enhance our weekend services Let’s grow together for the sake of others.

Marketable Securities

Marketable Securities are a great way to maximize your giving, because you receive an immediate income tax deduction for the full fair market value of your securities. In addition, you pay no capital gains tax on the difference between your cost and the fair market value.

Planned Donations

Planned Donations

If you have planned in advance to give a gift as part of your overall personal financial strategy, we recommend that you discuss your decision with your tax and/or financial advisor.

  • Life Insurance: You can simply name South Bay Church as the beneficiary.
  • Retirement Assets: You can name South Bay Church as a beneficiary of your IRA, 401(k) or other qualified retirement plan. Any amounts left in your plan will transfer to South Bay Church free of income tax or estate tax.
  • Bequests: You can name South Bay Church in your will as a beneficiary, and your estate will receive an income tax deduction for the value of your bequest. A bequest written in a will can be made for either a percentage or an amount.

We believe God’s plan begins with his Church and was created to make an impact wherever it goes. When we see the Church the way Jesus does, giving is not an obligation; it’s a privilege. It’s the best investment we can make. As stewards of the resources entrusted to us, our team works very hard to honor your gifts with integrity and fiscally responsible business practices.

Planning Center is our giving platform. Through the Planning Center digital giving platform, you can give a single donation or schedule recurring donations on the frequency you choose. To make a single donation or schedule recurring donations, you will need to have your checking account, debit, or credit card information readily available.

Yes! Automating your giving by setting up a recurring gift is a great way to consistently put God first in your finances. Recurring giving is easy and will take you less than two minutes to set up. Simply choose your schedule and amount to start automating your giving today.

Your annual giving statement will be sent to you each January for the previous calendar year. Our ability to provide you with a statement is based on having your most up-to-date contact information.

Cash and check contributions must be received or postmarked by December 31 to be included on your giving statement for that year. Online transactions must be initiated by 11:59 pm EST on December 31 to be included.
